The diagnosis of a serious condition is a life changing moment in a person’s life. Discussions with healthcare providers will outline the best treatment path which will begin an often long, worrying, arduous rollercoaster journey for the patient and their loved ones.

Finding the right treatment is complicated, but crucial. Most concerning is when a treatment exists but is inaccessible to the patient. It is here that COREX can step in to provide support and hope.

Our patient oriented services begin by sourcing and procuring early access to treatment which could save or radically improve their lives post-diagnosis. We work with healthcare providers and Clinical Trial Organisations to obtain these medicines which may be as yet unregistered in their home countries or which may be orphan drugs — medicines for diseases so rare that they are unlikely to be developed under usual marketing conditions.

Our specialist knowledge enables us to deal efficiently with regulatory requirements and customs clearance of medicines in order to import these drugs. With advance planning and detailed preparation, we then commence their direct delivery to patients. Using our extensive delivery network, we select the best routes, using qualified, trained and certified COREX couriers and partners.

Using temperature controlled transportation, all of our deliveries are continually monitored to minimise risk and ensure optimal quality control. The drugs are delivered promptly to the patients directly, or to their healthcare provider and from here, trial participation can begin.

It’s only part of the process, however. As well as providing additional support such as transfers, meals, financial and psychological help to create a positive patient experience, we offer a home nursing service which involves the safe collection and transfer of biological samples to the laboratory. And, when medicines or equipment are no longer needed, or are left over, we take care of collections and returns.
