COREX Operations Update
3 March 2022
Unfortunately, the conflict in Ukraine and the associated humanitarian crisis continues. The volatility of the situation is having significant effects on supply chain, financial systems, energy supply, and transport routes. These in turn have an impact on the conduct of clinical supply and logistics.
COREX Logistics is currently implementing emergency measures to maintain supply and delivery of vital medications to patients as well as storage and transport of clinical supplies and biomaterials. We are providing information on the status of operations here on our website to keep you up to date with the latest situation on the ground.
Safety of employees
COREX Logistics, as an international company operating in the territories of countries involved in the conflict, is maintaining constant contact with all employees, and providing all possible assistance to them.
Alternative transit routes and modes of transport
We are seeing a significant increase in the cost of international logistics as well as a decrease in availability of air cargo transit due to airspace closures and recall of leasing aircraft.
Our team is working on securing alternate routes through other countries including Turkey, Georgia and Kazakhstan and exploring road and rail options as required. We are rigorously testing various options so that we can maintain transport and delivery of medical goods and cargo.
We will continue to keep you informed of further developments.
