COREX Logistics Operations Update

As you are aware the situation in Ukraine continues to worsen - forcing over 2 million people to flee the country.

COREX has been working with our Ukraine team to ensure their safety and we can update you that as of the beginning of this week, most of our team has managed to reach safe areas.

We are helping them and their families to relocate. In the coming days, we will also welcome members of our team to Ireland, where our headquarters is located.

In addition, COREX is working with NGOs to provide any assistance possible in relation to humanitarian relief and medical supplies.

Restrictions regarding transport and logistics

The conflict is having significant effects on international transport and logistics. We are endeavoring to maintain supply and delivery of medical goods, but we are operating in a highly restricted environment. 

At present:

• It is not possible to export any goods from the USA.

• There are issues with the booking of flights to and from Europe.

• Serious restrictions have been imposed on cargo transit by Turkish Airlines. We are currently in negotiations with them regarding medical cargo transit for clinical trials.  

In light of the above challenges, COREX is now actively developing alternative air routes through Kazakhstan and using refrigerated trucks for alternate road routes. We will notify you when these routes have been confirmed and are available.
